Description
These Razor Blades are designed to scrape up super hard thin epoxies, thin mil coatings (like urethane paint), poured elastomeric coatings up to 60 mil and hard to remove adhesives. They are so effective because they are as thin as a standard razor blade- but they are made from hardened tool steel, to help them last a bit longer and stay sharper as long as possible.
NOTE: Due to how thin razor blades are, any floor scraper that weighs more than 1,000lbs is guaranteed to eventually bend a razor. As such, razors are sold by the box for one-off use. They cannot be resharpened. While they can be used on a rider, they are strongly recommended for walk behind floor scrapers, to increase their longevity and effectiveness.
When used on a walk behind floor stripper, these razors do an outstanding job of cleaning smooth concrete of coatings like paint, glue, mastic, linoleum and thin mill coatings, epoxies & thinset. The smoother and flatter the concrete, the cleaner these blades will get it.
When running a riding floor scraper, we recommend using the 12″ (368-12) or 15″ (368-15) razor blades, since their wider size will allow the blade to clean more efficiently and last longer.
The 363-15 is a 15″ wide razor. When using this razor blade with a riding floor scraper, please note that it requires a special Razor Blade Cutting Head due to it’s thin profile.
